STEWARDSHIP SEASON If you have not received your stewardship letter and pledge card, please see one of the trustees. Plan to stay after worship TODAY to hear more about the budget for 2020 and plans for the pastoral transition. Please return pledge cards to a trustee by Nov 12.
POTLUCK FOR LAURIE’S LAST SUNDAY. On November 17, we will have a potluck after worship. We are anticipating a number of guests. If you can, please bring two items to pass.
FIRST PRES YOUTH are selling EQUAL EXCHANGE coffee, chocolates and other fair trade products as they begin earning money for going to Camp Henry during the summer of 2020. These items make wonderful holiday gifts. See almost any youth for details. Orders and payments are due by November 17.
SOUP KITCHEN — November 30. We are on schedule to serve at the Soup Kitchen on November 30. Jean McIlvenny and many of the regular cooks and servers will be out of town for the holiday weekend. If you can help pitch in, please let us know as soon as possible.
WE ARE EXCITED that Rev. Scott Paul-Bonham has been hired by the Session to be a part–time transitional pastor from December 2, 2019 – May 31, 2020. Copies of his bio are in the narthex. Continue to pray for the church and for him and his family in this time of transition.

COMMUNITY GRAND ROUNDS is sponsoring a community read on the book “Waking Up White” by Debbie Irving. First Presbyterian is a host site. A first meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 12 from 6 – 8 p.m. Feel free to join the group!!
