BUILDING DEDICATION AT 3:00 P.M. SUNDAY MAY 5! See details below.
Worship @ 10:00 a.m.
This is the day our God has made.
Won’t you rejoice and be glad in it?
We will worship God together on Sunday, May 5, starting at 10 a.m.
Pastor Laurie will be preaching and we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper during this time of Eastertide.
THEN AT 3:00 P.M. — OUR BUILDING DEDICATION CELEBRATION SERVICE!
What an incredible journey God has brought us on together. We are thrilled to dedicate the new addition to the building, as the Open Wide Our Front Door campaign has come to full fruition. What a joy to see God’s people at work as we seek to be a part of the Morton Hill community in Benton Harbor for many years to come.
As part of our dedication celebration, Rev. Andrew Robertson will be preaching and we will have special music from the All God’s Children Choir and our very own First Presbyterian Choir. Please join us as we worship God together!

ALL are welcome! No matter who you are, how you identify, or where you’ve been, you are welcome here. For real. We proudly welcome and affirm people of all faiths, all gender identities, all sexual orientations, all ethnicities, all socioeconomic statuses. Be your full and complete self at First Presbyterian Church.

Our Mission Statement (adopted 1993, reaffirmed 2011):
We of First Presbyterian Church are a small family of believers committed to bridging the gulf of racial and class separation. As part of the Body of Christ in Benton Harbor and acknowledging Christ’s claims on our lives, our congregation is called to proclaim the gospel and witness Christ’s love, both within the community of faith and in our larger community. In doing this, we will share our faith with openness, love, warmth, and respect for the dignity and individuality of all people; we willl welcome and value diversity; we will strive to meet the needs of people in our community for sustenance and nurturing; and we will seek to deepen and broaden our own faith as we journey.
Roots Down, Branches Out
Please join us Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. Or come to enjoy a community supper Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. We are a small but strong group of believers who are committed to spreading the Word and Deed of Christ in our neighborhoods, both near the church building and near our homes. We hold strongly to the commandments of Jesus to Love the Lord with All Our Heart, Mind, Soul and Strength…and to Love Our Neighbor as Ourself. Worship with us, Neighbor.
